What Is the STAND Program?

The STAND Program lets West Virginia residents in DOL- registered apprenticeships earn a tuition-free associate degree at public community and technical colleges. Apprenticeship experience counts as up to 45 credit hours, with only 15 more credits needed in general education. Classes are flexible and often online, making it easy to balance work and study.
