IBEW 307 – Cumberland/Hagerstown

Over the years we have continually trained the best craftsperson in the industry without cost to the taxpayers. Students in Local 307 training programs earn while they learn by doing apprenticeships. Not only does this allow students to earn an income while in school, it also creates new tax revenue for the economy. This is truly a model program as it takes little to nothing from the taxpayers while training some of the most productive workers in the world who thereby pay tremendous dollars to the country.
Local 307 is in the IBEW’s Fourth District and represents electrical workers who live and/or work in Western Maryland and the Eastern Panhandle of West Virginia.
To become a journeyman, you must complete 8000 hours of training over five years in the Cumberland, Maryland training center.  Applications are accepted by appointment only.
Minimum requirements:

Minimum age 18
High School Education
One Year of High School Algebra
Qualifying Score on an Aptitude Test
Drug Free

WV – Grant, Hardy, Mineral, Hampshire, Morgan, Berkeley, Jefferson
OH –  Allegheny, Garrett and Washington counties
